This is where the fight is just about to begin, as soon as the ref backed away they went straight at each other, I always close my eyes or turn my head when they brawl. I couldn't imagine being in the ring. Either these guys have serious guts or they are crazy-you decide!
This is where he won the fight, he is a state champ in wrestling and he got his opponent in a headlock and the guy tapped out.
Don't you just love the 3 candles on his cake? I think the girls looked so cute in this picture. Kemp is not in the picture because he was asleep. He was kind of urked at us for not waking him up for the b-day festivities, but we all went to Fat Catz for some bowling and games so that made up for it.I really wanted to surprise Curt this year for his birthday. He always guesses what I am going to do, and I am proud to say this year he had no clue! I was going to take him to Rodizio's Grill in Salt Lake and then decided to be more creative (thank goodness because that was one of the places he guessed!) Lately Curt has been so hooked on this UFC (ultimate fighting championship) stuff on television and he makes me watch it with him, in some fights guys will have blood squirting from their heads,eeww! So my sister-in-law Sara tells me that her little brother fights in this insane sport-is it a sport?- It was being held at the Energy Solutions Arena and it is a Utah division called Throwdown. I actually had fun and Sara's brother is a dang good fighter he won after only 1-2 minutes. There were several different fights and it went until 1:30 in the morning. There were 3 big fights at the end, wish I would have got a pic of the last fight, one of the guys wore a blue striped speedo! Curtis also saw some guys from work who said they were shocked to see him at something like that! Who doesn't like to see two guys beating each other to a pulp? Yep, it still makes no sense to me.
