Brittany and Kerstyn both picked out VERY bright colors for their nails. Kerstyn picked an almost neon color of orange, and Brit's was bright green!

Cami and Courtney were twinners with their toes, they both had a purple polish with white flowers painted on, we had fun getting the nail art.

I just love these sweetie pie girls of mine, way to go Cami for being very persistent on having this "girls day"!(Check out the toes below-Cami and Brit's!)Curtis and Kemp planned a fishing trip to Montana this week. So what is that saying-Oh yeah- "When the cat's away the mice will play!" We---ll I promised Cami and Kerstyn we would do something girlish, so we got pedicures, my nieces Brittany and Courtney came with us. I was in heaven being pampered and my feet feel so good after a foot massage and some tender loving care! Brittany is so great to take along, she just steps in and helps out with the girls and they love her!

Happy Pioneer Day!

Here we are for the 24th of July, doing fireworks. I decided last minute to buy some fireworks and the kids had a lot of fun. The smoke bombs were fun to watch with the diff. colors.

Reid and Darci's family came for a visit and they were very fun to have around, we were sad to see them go home. My kids just love having cousins around! Thanks to Uncle Issac for being the firework man, he will be a great dad!

Kerstyn and her cousin Brooklin. Kerstyn absolutely loved having Caitlin and Brooklin around. Caitlin is so helpful. She was helping my girls with their hair and getting them dressed, and playing so good with them. I told Darci I got a little taste of what a nanny would be like, and how sweet it was!

I feel so horrible that I never got any pictures of him in action on the baseball field. He surprised us this year saying he wanted to play baseball. Kemp has always been a real easy going kid, not too competitive. I was so excited to see him really get into the sport. Curt and him would go up to the park and the batting cages, he did so well and I feel guilty I never had my camera. Here is a picture of his team. He has also said that he wants to go out for football this year. Maybe he is trying to please Grandpa Garrett, who has said he wants to see him play before he dies, Ha! Nothing like laying on some guilt. We laugh about it because Kemp is such a nice boy that we couldn't see him hurting a flea, but Grandpa says those kind make the BEST football players, like Uncle Reid!

I can't even describe how in love this girl is with singing and dancing. Kemp and Cami are always telling her to be quiet because she will sing at the top of her lungs in the car and it drives them crazy. The other day she came running to me and said, "Mom I made up a song by myself!" So I asked her what it was and she sang these lyrics: Happy, Happy, Yellow, Yellow, Song! I could not get better laughs or joy anywhere else than with being a mom! Here she is dancing in the living room with her new cherry suit.

I have a new favorite quote that I have to share on our blog. It is in the book titled "I am a Mother" by Jane Clayson Johnson. It applies to so many aspects of life and I think of Christ teaching us to endure to the end and then we will receive our glory. I think I may frame it in my bedroom!

4th of July

We decided to head to Bear Lake for the 4th, after some deep thought about the price of gasoline. Even though it did cost more than just staying home we had a total blast! Curt spoiled the kids by wave running, tubing behind the boat, teaching Kemp how to knee board, and the fact that Curt is such a kid at heart makes it that much funner! Jeff and Gina Smith and their fam also came up and our families thoroughly enjoyed each other. Thanks for making the long trip up, our kids would not have had as much fun without ya! Ben Kohli and Papa and Grams Smith were also there. It was fun to watch Ben learn how to waterski. I am prego, so I stayed away from the water activities, wish I could have been on the boat to see my little skeets do the kneeboard. The tube that the Smith's pull behind the boat is called a molecule, it is huge with several places for people to ride on it. Cami is our little daredevil, she was flying on that thing behind the boat and just loved it! Kerstyn and I had a blast sunbathing, looking for seashells on the shore, and buliding sand castles. We also dug a good size hole and Kerstyn said it was her own little pool. The fun and sun and relaxation did us all good.
