Christian- 3 months

We will miss having our Montana family living in Pocatello and coming down quite often to visit, when their house is finished and Reid starts his job they will be moving up to Helena, boo-hoo!
Cousin Caitlin is so great with babies!

A lot of snoozing happens with Daddy

When he isn't asleep he wishes he was!

I wish I could get his funny faces on camera, he just stares everytime I get out the camera.

He is constantly chewing on his hands!

Kerstyn gets naked and jumps in the bath every time I have him in, she is a very clean girl!

Just staring at the camera, what is that thing?

Finally a smile, yea!

Now he gets it, you smile when the camera is in your face, ha!

His first professional picture-1 month old

Christian is 3 months old now and we all now how fast the time goes by, so enjoy!

We love Pizza & Aunt Caroline!

Does my sister know her nieces and nephews, or what? She got all of them a card for a personal pan pizza at Pizza Hut for their birthdays. Cami kept forgetting to use hers from back in April, so they all went at the same time and thought it was such a great present. What kid doesn't love pizza? Thanks Aunt Caroline!

No Dogs Allowed!

Kerstyn was yelling, "Wake up!" to this fish. surprisingly enough it didn't wake up!

Our luck with pets has not been the greatest this past year. We have had 3 fish and 1 frog die, and 2 hamsters escape (of which we have yet to find?). I am the one that feeds and cleans up after these pets, so I got too busy and it was all downhill from there. My sister Lana brought it to my attention that our beta fish named Cinnamon was dead-I had no clue. My daughter Kerstyn said that our other beta named Aqua was sleeping and she was yelling in the bowl for him to wake up. It took awhile for her to understand he was dead, once she accepted it she asked if she could help flush it down the toilet-ha! I was secretly happy when Jumpy the frog died because I HATED cleaning the bowl and catching the frog in the net. Our veteran beta named Bluey, died last spring. We had him for 2 1/2 years, that was pretty emotional. I wake up every night when there is any sort of noise that might belong to our hamsters and wonder where I will find them? So of course I just laugh at my children when they ask for a dog!

Christmas pictures

A "real" note from Santa! We forgot to leave him milk and cookies so he helped himself to some sugar cookies that I baked for some neighbors and Santa must really love cookies cuz he left a lot of crumbs on our counter top! His cup from the milk was also left out by the cookie crumbs. Kemp has been doubting the authenticity of Santa this year, but this clenched it for him-because Mom and Dad don't write like that!
Lana knitted Caroline and I some beanies, love the colors!

Christmas DVD that my children would watch all year long if they could!

The girls in their High School Musical pj's.

Christian got a red ice skate for his ornament, Kerstyn got a Hannah Montana guitar, Cami got a disco ball, and Kemp got a silver snowflake.

A tradition we have every year is giving the kids a Christmas book, new pajamas and an ornanment to open on Christmas Eve, this has been tons of fun. We read the book that night and we love the snuggling together. This year Curt got the whole collection of Christmas cartoons on DVD (Santa, Frosty, Rudolph, etc.). I loved Christmas Eve this year! Curt also made vanilla steamed milk for all of us, yum!

We love it when Aunt Caroline comes to town! This was a pedicure night, they did green and red toes!

These two were the only ones left in their Christmas outfits for church, Kemp and Cami almost have their church clothes off before we even get in the house!

Playing "popcorn" with the sledding tube on the trampoline.
Other highlights of the Christmas season:
-My niece Ava recovered awesome from her head surgery (our prayers were answered!) She came home from Primary Children's Hospital three days before Christmas.
-My hubby made it home from Seattle at 5pm Christmas Eve, he is lucky he didn't get hung by his toenails, Ha!
-3 new babies to enjoy!
-My Dad was able to attend our family Christmas party, which he missed last year and was told on New Year's Eve of 08 by an ER doctor that he would live 2 more days, and he wasstill here to ring in 2009- we love you!

Happy New Year-2009!

It is just past midnight and I am the only one still awake. Curt and the kids were determined to stay up, they even bought a bag of candy and treats at the store! So much for getting a big kiss on New Years. I was noticing the expiration date on my credit card and it says 11/10. I can't believe we are almost to 2010, it seems like yesterday that we were celebrating the new century. I am so grateful for all I have learned since becoming an adult. I was telling Curtis the other day that my life has not even gone the way I had it planned, but it has been so much better. I have gained wisdom and a better knowledge of who I want to become through our hardships and our joys. This life is truly about just loving the Lord and taking care of our relationships with each other. That is what I have found that gives me true happiness and joy! Happy New Year!

blessing pics- cont'd.

Aunt Lesley (my sis) and my sister-in-law Darci, who is holding Lesley's baby Will- he is 3 weeks older than Christian.
Chelsea Kohli (Smith family), and Cameron Garrett

Some more cousins at the party- these girls are from the Smith family.

Some of the Garrett cousins- the girls came in the house crying that the boys were being mean and hitting them with the hippity-hop, so Curt went out on the tramp and took down the boys. Yea for Daddy!

This is Aunt Gina- Curt's oldest brother's wife

Papa and Grams Smith

Tag team!

I always have pictures taken with him when he is ready to eat and crying-not fair!

Christian's blessing

The Proud Parents
Sleep in heavenly peace

I love when babies really start to smile!

Isn't he yummy!

December 7 was such a beautiful day. Christian was blessed and the weather was warm and sunny. We were so lucky because the next day we got lots of snow and have had it ever since!Curt and I were so impressed at the support of all the family. Our families are getting pretty big, and we were thankful the kids could play outside. We enjoyed the day so much. Christian is such a bundle of joy. He is the easiest baby to read because he cries when he is hungry, poopy, or tired; and if those 3 things are taken care of he is a happy camper! Thanks Uncle Mike for taking most of these pictures!
